The towing operation for the installation of the steel truss overpass crossing the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway in SIP was launched on July 12, marking a significant progress of the construction of the north extension of Xinggang Street.

The double-layer steel truss overpass will be 143.72 meters long, and weigh about 3,600 tons. Its components are being towed to the place where it is located and then lifted and installed. It is expected to open to traffic late this year.
