Greatwall Strategy Consultants (also known as GEI), a Beijing-based consulting firm, recently released its 2025 research report on Chinese unicorn enterprises, which records 372 Chinese enterprises newly recognized as unicorns. Among these unicorns are 21 located in Suzhou, including seven in SIP, the most in a single district in the city.

Among the enterprises are those engaged in robotics, medical devices, automatic driving, intelligent logistics and big data.

It is learned that SIP has taken multiple measures in recent years to support small- and medium-sized enterprises to grow into unicorn enterprises and then achieve stronger development. It is now home to over 200 unicorns and unicorns-to-be.
