The Qingjianhu Sub-center of SIP Youth & Children Centre came into trial operation last week.
The venue covers a land area of about 15,200 square meters, with its total floor area exceeding 12,600 square meters. Its art exhibition hall, library, multi-functional hall and concert hall were opened at the same time, and its science hall, child care and early education center and other facilities will launch operations in the future.
The sub-center offers over 10 classes such as those on the game of Go, calligraphy, engineering, carpentry, fine arts and robotics to help youngsters enrich their knowledge and skills.
At the opening ceremony, the clubs and troupes from SIP Youth & Children Centre showcased their learning outcomes including diverse works they created and wonderful singing and dancing performances.
According to SIP Youth & Children Centre, the sub-center will host diverse events such as art festivals, concerts and technology carnivals in different seasons to provide children and teens with opportunities to unleash their potential and pursue their dreams, and it will join hands with nearby communities to bring its educational resources closer to youngsters.
